Chhath Poojaa: Starting from Bihar and UP, 'Chath Poojaa' is performed almost in whole of the World they have spread.  

'Chath Pooja' in a way will start from tomorrow itself when the Worshiper must take any thing 'only after bathing', next day s/he has to be on fast whole day and inthe evening will take "Peri, thekuaa aand Kheer saltless', the next day on "the 6th day of Kaatik Shukla Pax" i.e. the day of 'Chhath' s/he fasts whole day and night and in the evening people normally go to the bank of River Gangaa, any river, lake, or pond and Worship "the stting Son" and offer verietis of items prepared for the purpose like 'Thekua, khajood, kachawania, sweets, fruits like banana, coconut, orange. pitchar orange, singhada, sugar-canes, raddish, ginger,  and what not ...

The next morning people come early with similar things and the worshipper makes similar offerings to the rising Sun-god.

Many people remain the whole night there itself singing, dancing for 

'Mother Chhathi'.
